Dominique Vermer

The Dutch Bar Association of Brussels does not recognise specialisations. Dominique Vermer is however authorised to mention his particular competence in constitutional and administrative law, planning and environmental law and administrative tax law.
He has practised at the Brussels Bar since 1999. He holds a law degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain (1998). In addition, he has a diploma in specialist environmental law and public property law (Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis - 2003). He has also had training in tax law at the Katholieke Universitéit Leuven (1999).
He practises in all branches of administrative law, specialising in planning and environmental law, and administrative tax law (municipal, provincial and regional taxes). He provides legal advice and handles jurisdictional proceedings.
In this capacity, he is required to defend the interests of his clients before various administrative authorities (e.g. College of Burgomasters (chief magistrates) and Deputies, regional governments) and before the Planning College, the Environmental College, the upper and lower courts, the Council of State and the Constitutional Court.
He also contributes to the monthly review “Public administration”, specialising in constitutional and administrative law, and to the Bruylant publications .
He practises in administrative law, planning law and municipal and regional tax law in Dutch, French, English and German.
He performs various roles in community affairs.
