Philippe De Vos
Lawyer - Lawyer Xirius
Philippe De Vos has been a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar between 2015 and 2018 and at the Brussels Bar since 2019.
Since that year, he works in the tax department of Xirius.
He holds a law degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (U.L.B.) and a Master in tax law from the Katholieke Universiteit van Leuven (K.U.L.).
Mainly working for Arnaud Scheyvaerts and Jean-Pierre Magremanne, he practices all aspects of tax law, concerning both direct taxation (taxation of private individuals, and specifically the issue of tax residence, companies, non-residents, legal persons) and indirect taxation (VAT, registration duties and inheritance taxes, etc.). His practice as a tax lawyer encompasses the fields of tax consultancy and tax litigation (administrative and legal proceedings).
He has also written in several Belgian tax newspapers a certain amount of articles in the field of direct and indirect taxation, as well as regarding Belgian tax procedure as influenced by case law of the European court of Human Rights and the Court of the European Union.
He practices in Dutch, French, Italian and English.
